1971 Newport 30 Sailboat
Removing windows in preparation for deck and interior paint. Will likely replace those leaky windows with new acrylic (properly sealed).
It’s sad to let the originals go but they are too corroded and not water tight.
The VHF is not working too well as the antenna cable was clipped. With help of my friend, Andrey, we’ve set up a new antenna and hocked it up to the radio. After multiple times of trying to check it on channel 9, we asked on channel 16 and got yelled at by the Coast Guard 🙂
The original 1971 cabin top liner had to go so we could get to the source of the leaks all over the place.
