Prepping panel trim
With help from my friend Vlad we started cutting and fitting panel trim. Our attempts to bend it failed, despite the expertly assembled steam box 🙂
Teak trim for interior panels
Used scrap wood to create a router jig for teak trim and used it to make
Finalized by rounding edges on the router table.
Handrails installed
My plan to fasten the handrails from inside worked out well. With help from my friend Viktor, we pre-drilled the hand rail bases, mounted them with about 1″ clearance for sealant, and then gradually tightened up the screws. They sit solid and look great!
Teak plugs
Made some teak plugs from old trim and covered screw holes in the cabinet bases and companionway trim.

After tons of work making it, finishing it, and refinishing it, the new post is finally in place. Looks and feels awesome!
