Galley storage refreshed

Finally got to the galley storage shelf. Replaced side panel, painted interior light gray, and sanded/stained/varnished teak frame. Also added rubber liner to keep things from sliding around inside.

Next up for it: install LED strip inside, replace old sliding doors with new semi-transparent panels, and mount it securely.

Fridge arrived

The new Fridge arrived. Fits really well. This is the Isotherm Cruise 65 Clean Touch Stainless Steel, 2.3 cu.ft., AC/DC

Still need to design and build out the galley shelving around it but it’s good to have it so I can finalize measurements for the panels.

First test of the plumbing

Performed the first test of the pluming by connecting a hose to the city water inlet. Almost everything worked just fine. So awesome to have faucets in the galley and head working! A few leaks showed up but I think all of them can be fixed with adding plumbers tape. Off to a good start!

Wired in few cabin lights

Added a few additional 15A toggles to the DC panel and used one of them to wire in several of the interior cabin lights. One went up over chart table and another in the galley. The lights were from Amazon and ended up looking pretty cool – with a white/red toggle, long flexible neck, and a USB outlet in the base.
