Starting work on the fresh water system

Designed the fresh water system with a few key components:

  • 25 Gal water tank (existing) with deck fill, vent
    • Water level sensor & gauge (12V)
    • Main shutoff valve
  • Water pump with strainer & silencing hoses (12V)
  • Accumulation tank
  • 6 gal water heater (A/C)
  • Inline water purifier / filter
  • 2 sinks & faucets: galley and head
  • Electric marine toilet (12V)
  • City water inlet with pressure regulator and a check valve to separate it from pump-based circuit
  • Deck shower

The goal is to get most of this under the head sink so the space will be pretty tight and new shelf would need to be built to support the water heater. Will be super fun to get that all installed, connected, and working.

Wired in few cabin lights

Added a few additional 15A toggles to the DC panel and used one of them to wire in several of the interior cabin lights. One went up over chart table and another in the galley. The lights were from Amazon and ended up looking pretty cool – with a white/red toggle, long flexible neck, and a USB outlet in the base.

Mast wires conduit

Dropped wires in. Now need to install connectors and junction box and hook up anchoring light, deck flood light, motoring light, VHF antenna, and Raymarine wind speed and direction transducer.
