Finished rubrail install today with a super cool contraption – a ratcheting heavy duty strap wrapped around it and stretched to a nearby ladder (weighted down so it doesn’t move). After a few clicks I’d run around and help the rubrail stretch until I finally was able to secure it.
Many of the rivets in the hull to deck joint were missing and most bolts were loose so we tightened all the bolts, added new ones, and mad sure the seam was sound. Almost ready for rubrail install.
