Made a new side cover on CNC and trying glow paint to make a fun Newport 30 sign on it.

The table in the saloon needs a base to screw the leg into (can’t put screws into the hull, duh!). Used some leftover teak cutouts from the handrail making to build the starting shape for the 12″ base. Fusion360 helped dial in the sizes, 6 parts give us 60 degree angles for the chuck saw. The inside surfaces are all over the place but they will not be visible anyway so no reason to square that.

When the new water tank level gauge was wired in it turned out to be dead and showing “Full” all the time, for any level. A new gauge put in today finally shows real water level.

In prep for testing the fireplace & gas cooking stove, wired in and mounted combo CO / LP leak alarm. Put in 85 Series from MTI.

The custom tiles I cut a few weeks back are now ready to go. We’ve added 3 more full size tiles to complete the set. This final set includes: beach umbrella, mermaid cat, kelp, waves, swimmer, fish, looking glass, and a tiny compass rose.
