The custom tiles I cut a few weeks back are now ready to go. We’ve added 3 more full size tiles to complete the set. This final set includes: beach umbrella, mermaid cat, kelp, waves, swimmer, fish, looking glass, and a tiny compass rose.
The final piece of the puzzle was put in place today with some help from my friend Viktar: we connected and tested the fresh water pump. With that, fresh water system plumbing is complete! The original plan was perfectly executed in 3 months.
Second to last piece of the puzzle is in. The Shurflo accumulation tank is plumbed in. Only the water pump is left now.
With 2 sets of tiles ready, today was the day to dry fit the entire assembly and figure out the last row. Ended up with 5 custom pieces that will be done next week. Will likely rotate the tiles in the final layout (and need to figure out which one goes where). Teak border is also just FPO right now, needs more work to have smooth edges and better bottom shape.
Tested the water heater and things are working great. Pretty awesome to have hot water on a boat!
