Epic day: batteries delivered, rudder mounted, 440 miles driven

Today was a day to remember.  Drove down 200 miles from Tahoe just in time to meet the FedEx delivery truck with the new NorthStar batteries for the electric motor.  Hauled each 135 lbs battery up the ladder to the boat. Then drove to West Marine store to pick up waterproof grease and some HW, then home to SF to pick up some tools, and then back to the yard to get some work done: mounted rudder, installed 2 remaining thru-hulls and seacocks, mounted prop shaft zincs.  Finally, drove 200 miles back to Tahoe arriving at just after midnight. Whew.
